Region 1

BoysChaparral's Brennan Draper and Cherry Creek's Daniel Hruska dominated the field with Draper taking the win, clocking 15:42.00. Hruska was right there with him, running 15:44.00. The two finished almost thirty seconds ahead of the rest of the field.

Grandview took the overall team title, scoring 59 points. They will be joined in Colorado Springs next week by Regis Jesuit, Cherry Creek, and Chereokee.

Girls: Cherry Creek Sophomore Emily Cohen dominated the field, taking the individual title in 18:02.00. This time was over 50 seconds ahead of the rest of the field.

Cohen led her team, Cherry Creek, to the team title with 33 points. Chaparral was a close second with 34 points. They will be joined by Regis Jesuit and Grandview next week at the State Championships.

Region 2

Boys: Mountain Vista junior Benjamin Anderson ran away with the individual title, clocking a time of 14:56.79.

Anderson led Mountain Vista to the overall team title as they collectively tallied up 34 points. They will be joined at the State Championship next week by Thunder Ridge, Heritage, and Araphaoe.

GirlsThe Mountain Vista girls claimed four out of the top five places with junior Peyton Adams leading the pack, running a time of 17:15.12. Teammates Juliet Frum and Claire Guiberson followed closely behind in 2-3, running 17:24, and 17:33.

Mountain Vista scored 18 points for the overall team title. Dakota Ridge, Chatfield, and Araphaoe will join them in Colorado Springs.

Region 3

Boys: Denver East junior Jonas Scudamore kicked late to claim the title in 15:49 over Fairview's Holden Krizek, who finished two-seconds back in 15:51. 

Fairview put three inside the top-10 to tally 48-points for the title. Erie, Boulder, and Broomfield all booked their ticket to the State Championships. 

Girls: Denver East junior Rosie Mucharsky and Boulder senior Kiki Vaughn went stride-for-stride for much of the race before Mucharsky torched the final half-mile, clocking 18:18. Vaughn took second in 18:35.

Boulder went 2-3-4, and put four inside the top-seven to run away with the team title, tallying 35-points. Denver East, Fairview, and Broomfield finished also booked their ticket to State.

Region 4

Boys: After finishing fifth at last year's regional meet Centaurus' Jacob Schwarting was able to come back this year and take the individual title, running a time of 16:03.00. Loveland's Colin Olson wasn't too far behind, finishing second in 16:09. 

Fort Collins tallied 49-points to take the team title. They will be joined by Fossil Ridge, Centaurus, and Rocky Mountain next week.

GirlsLoveland senior Elena Torres won her second-consecutive region title, clocking 18:23 - a 45-second victory.

Fossil Ridge put three inside the top-five to run away with the team title, scoring 29 points. Loveland, Rocky Mountain, and Fort Collins will join them at the State Championship.

RESULTS

Region 5

Boys: Valor Christian senior Dane Eike defended his region title, clocking a time of 15:30.10. Rock Canyon junior Owen Whitney wasn't too far behind, running 15:36.00.

Rock Canyon took the overall team title with 41 points. Valor Christian, Castle View, and Douglas County will compete at the State Championship next week.

GirlsAir Academy secured the first three spots with Bethany Michalak torching the pack, clocking 16:59.10. Air Academy teammates Tessa Walter and Emily Beers finished 2-3, running 17:39, and 17:59. 

They led Air Academy to the overall team title, scoring 17 points. They will be joined by Valor Christian, Castle View, and Rock Canyon in Colorado Springs.
